I used to chase after the most up-to-date, new anything until I started to fatigue over rapidly evolving technology. At a certain point, it didn't excite me anymore, and I found myself turning the other way for analog things. It's so special; it gives such a tangible experience compared to something you let technology automatically handle for you. I get to fail and learn from it, fiddle with it, and find beauty in its imperfections.
Time will move fast, and everything will be a haze at the end of the day. You may or may not go on an emotional rollercoaster ride, the crazy ups and downs in a matter of minutes that make you unable to purely immerse yourself in your months-long planned and anticipated day. I want to be there to freeze those missed scenes for you; the things that happen past your peripheral vision, the intense emotions taking place behind you. Let every moment dominate your senses, nothing but soaking it all in. I will be your witness to show you your wedding through my eyes.
When you finally see the photos, I hope songs play in your head: the song you walked down the aisle to, the song you first danced to, the song everyone got down on the floor for. I hope the photos are fragrant; be able to smell the air of that day, rain or shine, the nervous scent of that first kiss, and the flowers you held in your hands.
